dell inspiron 15R - N5110 need advice

I recently ordered a refurbished dell inspiron 15R - N5110 laptop and need some advice on the specs.

dell inspiron 15R - N5110 , 15.6" HD (720p) LED display with true life. Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. 8xDVD +/- RW, 6 cell battery 48w. 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz (2 DIMMs). Intel core i7-2630QM (2.0 GHz 6mb cache quad core) with turbo boost 2.0 to 2.9Ghz). Intel centrino wireless N 1030 (1x2 b/g/n + Bluetooth combo card).1gb NVIDIA GeForce GT525M graphics. With 12m warranty certified refurbished.

Is this a good deal. I saw the same system for 32 £ less a few hours before I got mine. Mine was ordered for 518.72 including vat and delivery.

Dont know if it comes with a webcam, called help line but they can't say and say to email, did but no response more than 2days now. Called again but they say can't say over phone and to email. Don't know if USB 2.0 or 3.0 guess it is 2.0

Does anyone have the similar inspiron? Can someone confirm it comes with a webcam.

Have you checked the specs on the Dell website?
15Rs appear to come with a 1Mp camera.

On the dell outlet website, the specs mentioned are what I mentioned above and it does not give any further info, didn't have any more info when I called them twice and no reply to my email either. Some of the laptops with same number seem to have different specs on the dell outlet website. It will be a pain if it doesn't come with a built in webcam as I will have to use an external webcam, guess will have to wait till delivery to find out. Looks like may be upto 7 Sep.

I seem to recall that Dell outlet state the PC's unique tag number which you may have on the order paperwork... entering this tag number into their support page should allow you to see all the original items included with that particular PC.

edit: I had a look on Dell outlet and can't see that they specify the asset tag anymore but I'm sure they used to, anyway check your info from Dell and see if they've given it and if so, enter in the link above and see the original configuration

Thanks, nowhere in the paperwork does it name the code you have linked to. but on my order paperwork emailed to me there is an item number and i tried entering all of it but it does not allow all of it so i tried the middle bit within hypens and it brings up a system similar to the one i ordered and looks like comes with a 1megpix webcam. will find out if this is accurate when i get the computer. the website where i bought didnt have much details though.

The best way of checking is pricing up the same specs as a new laptop. What I will say is that the Core i7 is about the best processor around right now, and 8gb of RAM is very good indeed. Looking at those specs I'd say you've done well.
