Aviva Car Insurance

My car insurance is up for renewal and i am currently with Aviva. My renewal notice showed 5 years ncd when i actually now should have 8. I contacted them to query this and was told it was a common query but if i left Aviva i would be provided with proof of all 8 years ncd. I have now taken insurance with someone else but when i phoned Aviva they can only provide me with 6 so i have lost 2 years, i am infact leaving them with less than i went with. ( When i joined them i sent them a copy of my previous 7 years ncd as rquested ). My new insurance company will only go on the 6 years Aviva will provide and so the premium has now gone up by £90.00. BEWARE !! I wouldn't touch Aviva again and wouldn't recommend anyone else does either.

Have you tried asking your new insurance company if they will accept proof from the old company with 7 years plus your proof of the extra year with Aviva?
