I had to do a complete restore with the help of techie support from Samsung as laptop was freezing a lot. It is now working ok but I do not seem to be able to update windows, I have got 75 important files to updates and every time they failed to install, they are all related to windows 7 security. Can anybody help pl? Thanks

- put you clock & country right
- one or more Realtime Protection such as AV / antispam / firewall / etc is blocking you
- turn off Bitdefender for a start .. ..
What firewall / AV are you using ?Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. First check that other Windows 7 updates have been done before attempting any of the security updates. Then try ONE of the the security updates again. If that works then repeat. If it doesn't then Google the first security update reference and find the Microsoft page that allows you to download it. Then install from there.0
