It's a long shot, but can anyone recommend a cheap MP3 player than can definitely be used on a Windows 98 1st Edition PC. I've seen one on play.com for £7.99 - Play Lite V2 256MB USB2.0 MP3 / WMA player.
Any suggestions ?

The description for that MP3 player says that a driver disc is supplied for Windows 98SE.
I don't know whether this will run with Windows 98 1st edition.
Maybe someone else can advise.
