Glad to see another mse in willesborough store! I took 7 packets this morning (after scanning them on conveniently situated scanner) as the sel said 53p. Left the remaining aprox 20 for another mse - wondered if they had restocked the shelf since 11am. Also checked surf and flash but no luck with these ones.

Managed to get 36 today:eek:, before I get attacked I dont eat custard but I have a large extended family and I rang around everyone. It feels good to share this especially as many of them are on pensions and money is tight :)

The SEL sais 56p but used the price check machine and it scanned at 5p so it's worth a try HTH
  • just got a couple to try, not too sure if we will like the instant stuff that u just add water to, but for 5p will give it a whirl:)
  • Didnt work in Blackpool yesterday SEL was 53p and scanned at 53p but kids loved it with some chopped banana as pudd so might try again tomorrow :)
  • I'm not a big fan of the instant version but at 5p a packet I just couldn't resist. I found loads yesterday in my local Mr T extra store, so stocked up. A fantastic find nonetheless!

BTW, has anyone tried making it with milk instead of water (although I guess that would slightly defeat the object of it being instant) but just wondered whether it tasted any better?

It tastes a lot better if you mix a little fresh cream into it, just before serving!:)
