car Insurance company threatening to cancel my policy

Hi guys wonder if you can help i had a claim made against me which i denied liability i have written my insurance company explaining i am not liable but my insurance company is forcing me to accept liability . They asked me to send them my MOT and drivers licence so they can process it.
I have not sent it to them yet because they are going to accept liability, the police have investigated the matter and wrote me a letter saying i have not got a case to answer this which i have sent to my insurance, But they have sent me a letter saying i am not cooperating that they will pay the claim and cancel my insurance!! what are your suggestions can they do that!! why is my insurance company forcing me to accept liability i smell a rat somewhere!!

Why are they wanting you to accept liability, surely the police report/letter should have some weight.

Thats exactly what i said to them...but they are still forcing me to accept liability i just dont get it. If they are not happy why will they not investigate themselves.

Every accident doesnt mean a prosecution by the plod..... the letter simply states this......

I guess the insurance company feel you have something to hide by not providing the relevant documents....

Remember if THEY cancel your policy, when you apply for new insurance a question that will be asked is Have you had insurance cancelled by an Insurer..... if you say no you will be invalidating any policy and run the risk of it baing cancelled specially when you try to claim or someone claims from you. + plus you will end up paying more as most mainstream insurers wont touch you
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?

Not really i just feel that if i provide the documents they want, they are going to settle the claim made against me and i dont want that to happen!!.I just feel they do not want to investigate the matter further and want to settle quickly its bullying me in a way .what do you think?!! i really appreciate all the advice .

ihates is right, they will cancel it and cause you a lot of grief . Send it to them and if necessary goto the fso, but remeber they work on probability and previous cases.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Basically i was in some guys garage at the back of his house and he was fixing my car, he was changing my back brakes and doing an oil and changing the leads for the spark plugs because they were misfiring!! Anyway he finished the work gave me the keys, i started the car from outside because i wanted to hear if the engine was still misfiring.
Soon as i started the car it shot forward and hit a wall opposite the garage..the idiot had left the car in gear and put the handbrake down to fix it but forgot to put it back before he gave me the keys.
Anyway the owner of the wall put in a claim for it on my insurance, of which i denied liability..

you were liable. You turned the ignition and drove it into a wall.
If i gave you a loaded gun with the safety off, and you pulled the trigger, killing somebody. Am i to blame because you didn't check it was safe?

Stop trying to blame somebody else; you were responsible for starting the car and driving it into a wall because you didn't check it was safe to start.
