I can add £3.45 today, a mixture of surveys and points and loose change into the pot. This takes me to £11.88/£150 so far, but I've agreed a few hours of overtime later this month so that will give me a little boost.2nd Purse #036 £46.69/£50.00

Needless to say They take a packed lunch as do most of their friends!
Have you thought about doing packed lunches for the kids, rather than school dinners? work out so much cheaper!!
One great tip i picked up from the old style board is to make a weeks worth of sandwiches and freeze them, it sounds odd but does work :rotfl:i thought they would go soggy but they dont and they are defrosted by lunch time, a great money and time saver!
Best of luck either way!
I am thinking of trying this, thanks to the old style board I have been baking away, as school dinners would cost me £40 a week this academic year . I've found loads of good recipes over on that board, and now have a freezer full of home made stuff, for a serious budget saving. Hopefully they'll eat it all :rotfl:0 -
Went baby shopping yesterday with my mum , so some savings to add there :j will figure out how much later when she goes home.
Will update this evening!!
Ok cant figure it out, possibly tired from sorting nursery out or baby brain :rotfl:Going for £20 as conservative saving, got my 6 tommy tippee bottles for £10, (maybe normally £20-25??) also got 6 packs johnson baby wipes for £5, and all johnson baby bath stuff, and cream, oils etc for £1, normally £1.97ish each (got 5) Also bagged at asda lots of 50p buys for my pack up this week at work, and found 21p when clearing out nursery. All in a days work lol :j
May make target this month for a change, got home insurance due this month , looks like im gonna save £150- £200 a year on quote plus buying throu TCB so another £30 if it clears!! May just add 1st months saving of £17ish pounds as pay monthly. Not sure what I should count (any suggesstions?)
Looks like everyones having a good month, this month, keep up the good work guys and gals!!!Make £0/£100 Feb 2016 (Late starter)
New Year resolution get bum into gear and get debt free :cool:0 -
grumblybum books are better sold on amazon or play. do a search on ebay for ones you are planning to sell and see how they're doing first0
