Pretty crappy day today, no money making at all, car failed MOT (£55 for the priviledge!) and the best...foster daughters druggie parents are going to a mother and baby class at my son's school every week, also where I take my daughter to toddler groups. I challenged this as its crossing over into my life too much(there are 7 other M&B groups in my town alone!) and I was met with 'tough'. Im really not happy about it, my children are getting involved, my family's saftey is compromised(they know where I live when they shouldnt) and social services couldnt give a crap, they put the druggies needs before my family. I haven't made any money today, and I think I'm facing having to refund an ebay buyer
She's been an absolute nightmare, won the thingy last weekend and was asking me questions all week before paying on thursday night, posted it friday 2nd class and today I got a nasty all-in-capitals email (it was seriously vicious! I felt like I'd killed her puppy or something) saying she hasnt got it and wants a refund
I posted with tracking so I'm ignoring her for now - let's see what happens! I can't afford to refund if it's going to arrive and I really don't feel up to reading any more nasty emails. Sigh.

Nat - is there not a higher level that you can complain to, or have you already tried? Obviously as I don't know how the system works I can't give much advice, but you would assume with the amount of high profile failings made by social services in recent years, there would be a decent structure in place by now. Apparently not though.
That's awful for you.
On a money note, I just found £4.84 in the bottom of my handbag, but won't count it in this challenge as it's not like it was an old handbag, it was just that my current handbag is so full of carp!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Oh i hate it when buyers get like thisanyway i would suggest you contact her and ask her to go through the item not received option. This way her responses will be recorded. You need to make sure you are the reasonable one. As you have sent it recorded you will not have to refund her for the item - you will be covered with paypal. If you need any other info feel free to drop me a line.

Just adding £6.70 from coupons, would have been more but they had no honey shreddies left! Will try again tomorrow as I have to go back for a couple of bits.I haven't made any money today, and I think I'm facing having to refund an ebay buyer

Oh I hate buyers like thatIt will probably turn up tomorrow, so just tell her that you sent it the day after payment (can't get quicker than that!) and give the Royal Mail delivery time estimates... then point out that had she paid when she won it, she would have it by now (:p), however as she didn't pay for nearly a week, she can't reasonably expect to have it with her yet!
As for the refund, she has no grounds to ask for one - the parcel wouldn't even be expected to turn up until tomorrow (and wouldn't be considered 'missing' for 3 weeks), so try not to worry about it!0 -
