  • My computer was playing up so I took it to PC shop to see if I could get it fixed but it appeared to be more expensive to fix than to replace so the good news is this update is from my shiny new computer, the bad news is I've had to pay for a shiny new computer!!

No money made today just money spent :o

  • My goodness Nat, you really are going through it at the minute! Big hugs from me.....and hope you are looking after yourself in all this :)

Also i finally worked out my ebay earnings - since my last update i have made £51.16 profit. I have also been on a listing frenzy and have listed 111 items on buy it now! I have some Avon stock in the house that i thought i would try and sell and its looking good so far :) (oh i have to admit to 80 of the items being the same thing just 8 different fragrances - thats how i got so many things listed :D )

Also i have another £8.85 payment in, this time from Palm research - i got to cashout level with them ages ago so its a nice surprise to have that hit my account :)

My total so far then is £601.94 :)

  • You seem like a strong person Nats, and it's great you've given her a safe place to be in your foster family. I am sure she has enjoyed the time she has spoent with you. yes the system is long and protracted, but it's a great thing you're doing.

I sold another book on amazon. that's 5 this week & £50. Also doing ok on ebay... turned in 150 with more on the way. I better update my signature. I got £10 voucher frm a survey site too & 3p roadkill.

    Hey Everyone,

Went clothes shopping today and have £7.30 NUS discount to add.

Was planning on getting some honey shreddies but my printer had run out of both yellow and magenta! Nipped to Tesco to get some ink (would need it anyway!) and found that they are offering 500 clubcard points when you buy two ink cartridges. The ones I have are £8.50ish each so if I used the points for 3x deals (ie £15), the cartridges will have only cost £1 each, lol. :T
They had run out of Magenta, so I bought Yellow and Cyan, I then got a £1 off ink voucher at the till so will go back tomorrow for magenta and black (no doubt I'll be running low on that soon too!) so I can use that, and get another 500 points.... plus a few boxes of shreddies!!! I've printed out a few vouchers to use, they are all luminous yellow without the magenta, but I'm sure they'll be fine, lol.

Ooh, and I found 1p roadkill in the SS till change pot :D

    (£141.59/£300)
  • does anybody know how I can turn empty printer cartridges into cash?? ta muchly

This is something I'd be interested in too. I think Aesop's been looking into it, she posted a link a few days ago to a website that was offering upto £4.50 each... it offered me 1p per cartridge though so I didn't make a note of remembering the website, lol
