If I was a vendor and a potential purchaser came to me and said as such then it would be good grounds to argue the contract with the Agent was frustrated, and terminate it forthwith and without penalty.
In this market you need every viewer/potential purchaser you can get through the door.0 -

I did say it would be enough for me to cancel the contract. Now, on reflection, I think I would go about this carefully. I would instruct them to cease 'Premium Buyers' immediately - and then I would get a mystery buyer to check out the situation. If they repeated 'Premium Buyers' on my property, they would be sacked.
As for the whole Premium Buyers nonsense, it is a conflict of interest. The Agent is effectively using this to drive mortgage business to himself. It is a pretty serious breach of trust to prevent viewings for this reason - maybe enough to justify sacking the Agent forthwith.

I would be furious with any agent that did this to me.
I did get my sister to mystery shop my last agent....amazing what they come back with!0 -
hcb42: did your sister have to actually register with your EA before they would give her any information? I ask because I've thought of doing that in the past but wouldn't want a friend/family member subsequently bombarded with emails/texts/phone calls from the EA about all their other houses!0
