i am trying to set up a wireless printer for a neibour. it is an epson sx420w
I have tried two ways. 1. through the printer. 2.through the laptop via the CD.
either way it fails.
i have a print out that says "network working correctly .A router /access point channel conflict has been detected"
what does this mean?
I have disabled the firewall while trying to make it work.
The wireless router is BTHub the laptop is a toshiba running windows 7
it prints ok when connected by cable
thanks

Have a look on http://support.epson-europe.com/onlineguides/en/fy10_nwg/panel/g_html/external/manual_e01.htm
for the error code.
It says that it's conflicting with another wireless network and to try moving it closer to the router.0 -
I bet the BT Homehub is on Ch1, 6 or 11 along with most of the rest of the wifi networks in the neighbourhood.0

thanks to all who replied I tried all the replies but santers' webchat did the trick.
I had to download the latest drivers from the epson web site install it and it worked first time.
why the drivers are out of date on a brand new printer beats me0 -
