I have a mixture of wooden and Lakeland Soft grips pegs. Gave up on the cheaper plastic ones ages ago due to them breaking. Both kinds I use have lasted for years. Wooden ones aren't so easy to come by these days though.
The soft grip pegs are great for anything you don't want marks left on and I find them good for securing heavier items on the line too.0 -
I got some plastic ones from Dunelm Mill in feb/march time & they've been really good. They grip well & i've had no breakages.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

Lidl pegs (when they have them) are brilliant. Mine get left on the line all year and these have not cracked or split. Personally don't use wood because I leave them out & then they go all slimy.

We've been using the same cheapo pack from Wilkinsons for the past 3 years. We always bring them in with the washing and the only problem is that some of the colours have faded but I'm sure I can live with that!0

I bought mine just before getting married---26 years ago
and they are still going strong. I`ve lost maybe half a dozen over time. They are the wooden ones with springs in. I store them in a home made bag which lives indoors. I`m sure I saw some on the local market recently.0 -

Whilst on the subject of pegs can anyone recommend any easy to squeeze pegs?
