The only way you can do that is by applying for a card like MBNA or Post Office credit card which are more or less the only providers allowing you to transfer fund directly onto your current account at the promotional rate & a fee of 4%.0

There is no possible way of doing this completely fee free and interest free. You can get 0% purchase cards and 0% balance transfer cards but for what you want to do it will be treated as a cash withdrawal and no lender offers 0% cash.I have worked at HSBC Bank in various departments both customer facing and process-related for six years. However, any advice given is my own.0

You are wrong....have you read my post above! It is fully possible with 0% interest but a 4% fee with MBNA at 0% for 17 months......0 -

Hi Stephane
I said in my post fee free and interest free.
I'm guessing OP meant by 0% completely free i.e. no charges at all. Some users are new to the whole 0% cards and how they work and don't realise there is a balance transfer free.
But assuming that the OP thought this is where I might be wrong.I have worked at HSBC Bank in various departments both customer facing and process-related for six years. However, any advice given is my own.0
