Looking for a private landlord in Milton Keynes, Beds or Northants

Options
Hi

First of all please let me know if this 'is not allowed' and remove accordingly.

We are selling our house and unsure at the moment which county we wish to live in so have agreed to rent for a min of 2yrs until we decide.

If there are any private landlords in these areas who see this or you know of anyone please can you get in touch.

We are looking for a 2/3 bedroom house (ideally). We have a dog and 2 cats and we both work full time. I work out for 4hrs per day (2hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening) and DH working 6am-2pm daily. I also run my own business and work from home the rest of the time. (i do not advertise the address i work from as i cover 4 counties).

Our budget is £600 max pcm.
Our sale is due to complete end of Oct/Begin Nov.

thank you

I don't know whether it's 'allowed' or not but it's certainly not what I expect these forums to be used for. If you do get any positive replies I'd make a note of them quickly as I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the thread completely disappear!

I have a 2 bed in MK - but lovely tenants who I hope aren't planning to leave.......

When they do, I advertise in the MK Citizen, as do some other landlords (along with a plethora of agents!).

agrinnall - i completely understand. I just thought it was worth a try as i know there are lots of landlords on here but not sure what area's their from. I have advertised on gumtree last night at 10pm and low and behold have already had 3 scammers email me its so heartbreaking when your trying to find genuine people.

GM - thank you, in milton keynes we're finding it quite hard to find something in our price range (obviously) which is a shame as the people buying our house are moving out of a rental 3 bed with private landlord acting on his own behalf, so it would of been ideal to do a house swap on the day of moving so to speak. So as I need to expand our search to other counties I'm wondering how else I can find landlords in those areas rather than ordering a copy of their local newspaper.

Ok LouisaL , you miss out essential information in your post so that instantly would make me (if I was a LL) suspicious.

Partenr emplyed but no mention of partner's wages- alarm bells. You're mostly SE so that's a non starter. No mention of a clean credit history which I would think is very important to emphasise to LLs so now suspect you have CCjs up the wazoo or have been bankrupt. At least you are upfront about lots and lots of pets.
