Yes it can be added as it was to mine, they suspended this when it got to Court and the Judge took them to bits, how sad never mind!

You also have to remember that if the NRP is in the situation, that due to the current economic state of the country is not uncommon, and goes bankrupt then the interest can be covered in that, so it may not be payable in any event! So in my opinion the system may just for once work in the favor of the NRP!

All this aside, if the system was run properly and the NRP not villainiesed and a system put in place that is seen by both sides to be fair, then in all probability most of these cases would not exist as the CSA would not be used as it is as a weapon by the PWC to get at the NRP as it is at this time, though not by all!

The economic situation applies to PWCs too -not by all, just as the CSA is not used as a weapon by all PWCs.

Having been in another pickle recently with another govt agency due to my work...trying to recover fees... I really think all agencies are in meltdown!

There is provision for it in the law, under the Arrears, Interest and Adjustment of Maintenance Assessments Regulations, but the interest-charging parts were suspended over ten years ago. IOW, the CSA can't charge interest because their power to do it is not currently in force. For the moment at least.

I agree that not all PWC use the CSA as a weapon, but without doubt it is used as a weapon when the PWC in some case resents the fact that the NRP has got on with their lives and are being successful as well, be it in paid or unpaid roles.

My ex's husband ask a Judge to Order me to stop me Charity work so that I could earn more money, so that they could get more from me! Needless to say that the Judge did not make any such order! Yes my ex has used the CSA as a weapon, and it has failed to have the effect that she had hoped for, as the CSA is staffed by people with a below standard intellect, and could not tell the truth if their life depended on it! My opinion any way and it has been formed from my experience of dealing with these people!
