I want to find the best account for my daughter whilst she is in 6th form. There is lots of information on student accounts- usually 17 or 18 years olus and lots for children, but usually under 16.
can anyone offer me some advice please?

All the banks will offer some sort of account for 16 year olds.
The Lloyds link above is my favourite, but unless the balance is going to be significant I'd suggest the bank with the most convenient branch and ATM is the one to head for (unless it's called Santander).0 -
My 14 year old uses the lloyds account, it is very good and he is happy with it. I 'pay' his pocket money into the account and he spends it - usually on the internet!!Getting fit for 2013 - Starting weight 10.1.13 88.1kg

I prefer HSBC to Lloyds, but I've never had problems with either.0

My friend has been with Lloyds TSB since he was 13 and they have a great service.
You get Online Banking, and a Debit Card (which can be used any where online/in shops)
It works with PSN to!!!
Most banks at this age offer the same stuff so it wouldn't really matter. They also don't charge you fees on anything until you reach 18.0
