If they are offering you any more than 15p in the £ then there's an alternative motive.
Unfortunately thats what the 2nd hand market value is. CLC points can be had for 10% of their new cost + transfer fee
  • They are offering 0.8p for the points - our concern is they are asking for a retainer of over £1,000 which is to be held by Visa until completion of sale.

    dont give them it.!

You can sell completely FEE FREE with http://www.timeshare-hypermarket.com/ They are a reputable company in a sea of sharks.

You can also research similar points for sale via the website, to give you an idea of what price point to get a speedy sale.

    Are they RCI points ?

ebay have RCI points up for grabs but starting bids of 1.5p a point.
    ie http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Timeshare-163-500-RCI-POINTS-LOW-ANNUAL-FEES-/360388692846?pt=UK_Tickets_Travel_Accommodation_ET&hash=item53e8d70b6e#ht_1081wt_932
How many do you have + whats the management fees ?
  • We have Infiniti Points 101,000.00 and Management fees are £1,300 per annum. We have been offered a sale but which requires a visa liability retainer of over £1,000 which they say will be refunded on completion.

We are concerned that if this sale does not materialise do we lose our money? or do they keep it until they can find a new buyer which could take months.

Any website with a dot es domain is Spanish based. I wouldn't touch them .

You'll lose it regardless - they don't have a sale, never have had. They are scamming you. If they weren't they wouldn't have asked for cash up front
  • Thank you everyone for all your comments we shall give them a wide birth and keep our points holidays. Many thanks.
