one of the many good things about ocado is their variable pricing. We had a delivery yesterday evening and it was under £2! They vary their prices depending on the slot. The downside is you have to spend £75, but that's sadly all too easy these days!
its possibly easy when you are shopping at waitrose but i dont spend that much in a fortnight. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Oh trust me, walking is not a problem! It's finding my way back. It takes on average 2hours and 40minutes through the country lanes to avoid going around the houses plus I can't walk along a carriageway but about 8 to 10hours to find my way back. I almost failed to make it out before darkfull 3 weeks ago but luckily a very nice man offored me a lift back into my home town actually it was pitch black and gave him quiet a shock to see that I was walking up their so late at night so he offered me a lift. Just aswell cause I had been walking for over 10hours must of clocked up over a 40 mile hike. Yah I'm not lazy I go for a 6mile jog every night.
My point is as stupid as it sounds it's the 2nd time I couldn't find my way back.. the sign posting that I follow leads me out to a carriageway and I really don't feel that comfortable walking along it so I walk around aimlessly looking for an alternative route.
£25 seems like ALOT, Assuming students need to shop too or it could well be people like to shop around I only want some sweets and happy to pay delivery but not spend £28 in total. Lets just hope the price doesn't bounce when I do suddenly decide to online shop @Asda
I havn't got round to emailing them yet but I will now☺

To be fair, Iceland also have a minimum spend of £25 for delivery. On the plus side though, Iceland deliver for free (and you pick your own stuff). If ASDA done that they would find a lot more people would shop with them.0

I suppose, But atleast with Iceland we have 3 stores close by 1 In each town, the nearest Asda is 14-15miles one way so it's not practical to walk. though they have just built a store which opens next month but it is in the next town 3-4miles away one way which is ok but £3-5.50 delivery stinks especially when you have no choice Asda are slacking in store delevopments and punishing it's customers as a result.reformedEffortmaker wrote: »did you get a reply?
Yet to send them an email, I know I know but I did finally place an order I didn't get the discount cause it expired last year
But it's offical ASDA SUCKS! Their website is unfriendly, the discount promotional codes suck a lousy free delivery for a minimum £50 spend excluding all kinds of products.. Who the hell is ASDA  claiming to be 10% cheaper then their current rivals bloody SHAM.. the whole shops rigged and hope they get raped out of britain
£3 - £5.50 delivery for a poxy basket full of crap they better have it all in stock or they can take it all back and refund in full. I unticked the substitutes box cause I don't trust what they'd send instead.
I will be spamming their complaints box! !! and forever spam bad reviews across net-wide. Pfft lousy american store ripping off the brits 'cause they can'
P.s
Don't shop with ASDA0 -
I think it's a heck of a lot of hassle over a few sweeties. Can't you just go to your local corner shop? Would work out cheaper in the end. Or give up sweeties entirely and put the money towards an annual bus pass instead. I can't imagine why anyone would walk 14 miles to a supermarket tbh, especially if it takes 10 hours to walk back carrying the bags. Come to think of it, maybe buying a map would also be a good idea?Val.0
