white granite watermark question

Hello,

sorry if this is meant to go else where.

we just had Kashmir white granite worktops fitted by a reputable company who specalise in Granite and marble in Glasgow. I have noticed that after the worktops get wet they go a darker colour which then fades as it dries. Is this normal or does it mean that the granite is not sealed adequately and should I be asking for the company to reseal, if such a thing is possible?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, just they look lovely and were not cheap so I want to treat them well.

Thanks.

I'm sure Alan M will be along soon to give his expert opinion. (Although I'm pretty certain I know what he's going to say) :D
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
