where to find big tupperware to transport cakes?

You don't need to buy a silver cake card - a couple of layers of cardboard box and kitchen foil does the job nicely! If you can be sure of getting it back I use a chopping board covered in foil (a bit stiffer, but does not matter if it is staying in the tin or whatever you use), have a substantial one I use every Christmas.

Might be worth looking around the supermarket in the biscuit/cracker isle. I've often bought savoury crackers (jacob's I think?) in big square orange plastic tubs. I've been reusing some of these for years and bought a couple more last year. Much better than the metal tins as they never rust.

If you can get hold of a celebrations tin, they are also freezer safe.
