Redundancy payment advice

Hi im looking for some advice I am currently been made redundant from a job I have on a Sunday. Thankfully I will still have a full time post monday- friday with the same employer that is unaffected.
As its a local government job I get paid double time for my Sunday job, in accordance with the green book of pay and conditions, however today I have received a letter confirming my formal notice of temination of employment which includes an estimated redundancy figure.
I have worked worked for the council since 6/10/05 and my termination date is the 30/9/11 and it states I am entitled to 4.5 weeks redundancy pay. Which I think is correct as i'm only 26.
However the calulation they have given me is based on being paid time and half. I have worked in that particular post for 18 months now alongside my full time mon-fri post and have always been paid double time for my work on a Sunday.
Should my redundany pay be based on double time?
Also before I gained the contract for the Sunday hours I worked in a causal pool of staff. Working in various locations as and when required. After being in the casual pool for approx 7 months I was sucessfully appointed to a Sunday post however I still continued to work in other locations as and when required as casual staff.
When I was informed of being made redundant on a Sunday I asked about how my casual hours would be affected. I was told that I would be unable to continue to work any casual hours after my termination date as I was being made redundant. However I do not have a contract for the casual hours, they are simply as and when required on an evening or Saturday. Is this correct? I thought as I did the causal hours before I got the Sunday contract I would be able to continue doing this.
Thanks for any advice you can give me!

I am frankly surprised they paid you double time for Sunday at all - not many councils do this any more, especially if it is one day a week! But you need to address the question to the council - some councils redundancy schemes limit ehanced payments when used as redundancy. The green book is no longer binding on employers and many vary terms now. As for the casual hours - there is no commitment to your being given any and they obviously aren't going to. These are often the first to go when cuts come.0

I am surprised you are entitled to any redundancy as you will continue to work with the same employer in your fulltime role.
I would have expected you to have been made redundant from all of your jobs to trigger a redundacy payment.
Do they realise you have two contracts with them?0
