Hi guys,
Has anyone used http://www.insure4excess.com Sounds like a good idea. I'm young driver (24) trying to insure a Z4 and whacking the excess up cuts the quote a lot more than these people charge to cover it.
Anyone any direct experience or feedback. Seams almost too good to be true. I've looked around the site and searched but cannot see anything.
Thanks

Interesting idea.... it is worth noting in the T&Cs that they wont pay out if another party is liable and the excess can be recovered within 9 months... so someone rear ends you you would have to pay the excess first and then wait to recover from the TP rather than paying and getting the money "straight back" from this insurance. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Although in that situation, assuming liability is not in dispute, you could simply deal direct with the third party insurer in which case the excess wouldn't be payable anyway.0 -
That is an option, however as you say it does assume liability isnt an issue.... personally I would still go through my own insurers as you get the protection of the FOS if things go wrong, new for old on personal possessions etc and they should have to work for their money
