It is better to wait as you may end up stoozing from your potential mortgage lenders. These debts do not look good from a lender's point of view.

I have a savings to current account sweep facility so that my current account is always at a constant level at the start of the day. I stagger CC payments with automated monthy standing orders.Approx half my minimum 0% capital payments are paid from current earnings. This is a form of indirect monthly saving.

    How about assessing the risks?

Apply now and you could screw up your mortgage application, at the very least rasing the eyebrows of the underwriters.

Apply after and you may not get the cards hot on the heels of a new mortgage.

Which is the worse scenario? I know what I would do.

I use a similar system of pulling savings into c/a to cover min. payments
