Child Tax Credits/Income Support

Hi,
I have been in receipt of spousal maintenance for 10 months and recently the new child tax credits form has asked me to "declare any other form of income recieved and support to sustain everyday living costs other than tax credits"
Does this mean i have to declare my spousal/child maintenance and also will it affect my child tax credits?
Also, am i eligible to receive income support as i do not work and look after my 2 children?
I have no other income other than my spousal maintainance and child maintenance from my ex-husband.
