Super Quick Wash 15 min Bosch Washing Machine

Any one got a Bosch washing machine with the super quick wash (15 minutes) on it?
Any one know what the wash temperature is for the 15 minute super quick wash?
Does this 15 minute wash cycle actually clean clothes? My service engineer implied that it would have to agitate my clothes a lot to get them clean in this time, ultimately leading to damaged clothing.
He recommended a Candy washing machine and told me to keep away from Bosch as they were overpriced and now made in Turkey!
Still I'm tempted by the 15 minute wash cycle as our clothes are not that dirty! I'm looking at Buying the Bosch WAE24464 for £299 from the Coop on line electrical store.
I'm a bit out of touch with the washing machine market as my old machine has lasted over 10 years.
So any and all comments welcome.

Got an LG myself the direct drive one so pretty quiet, does a 30min wash at 30 degrees and has a 7KG Capacity AAA rating etc but came with a 5year parts & labour guarantee. So can't complain.Cheers

Thanks SJC, had considered it but price too steep at the moment.
Also considered a Candy C514 at £169 in Comet.
Normally would buy a more expensive washing machine, but it broke the same day as we ordered an expensive mattress and my white goods saving fund wasn't quite up to a Miele..........so I'm still saving for one, but need to have a machine in the interim!0 -
Remember, cleaning is a combination of (chemical, mechanical and thermal energies) x time - therefore one of the energies ( mechanical - increased agitation!) would need to be adjusted to get the items being washed clean if time is reduced!!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

I had a cheap (Indesit) washing machine which was noisy and useless! I now have a Bosch and haven't looked back. It doesn't wash in 15 mins though, I can't imagine clothes would get cleaned in such a short amount of time. But it does have a quick wash function though.0

Bosch/Zanussi usally come out top in tests and user reports. Anything beginning with a 'H' will be found at the other end of the scale.

Turkey!!!
In 2000 we were told that some Bosch parts were made cheaper in Spain.
Also advised to look for GB at the end of the machine model.
Was told it was made in UK.I thought it just meant for GB Market.
Contact Bosch by email and ask if all the components are made in the UK.

Had a Bosch Maxx for over 6 years and decided to accept £75 for it before Christmas,(just in case it breaksdown) and picked up the last Siemens at Currys for £329 after a little haggle and comes with 5 years parts and labour guarantee.
Now to get the Tumble Dryer WT46E387GB also with 5yr guarantee.

I know it's absolutely ages since the last post on this but I needed to say this because I made a mistake regarding 'quick wash' options. I have been running a Bosch Maxx for the last 9 years. I only bought it because it had a quick wash option. And yes the wash itself takes around 15 - 20 mins BUT then the rest of the cycle is the same length of time so it's only the wash time that's reduced - duh!
So - if you found this thread because you're looking for a washer with a quick wash cycle, check that it's the whole cycle that's quick and not just the wash part!0 -
I recently bought a Bosch washing machine thinking it was German. Looking at the door and door latch it seemed very cheaply made.
I sent Bosch an email asking them if it was made in Germany. The reply I got was, my model was either made in Poland, or Turkey.
I am quite pleased with the machine, a 60c cotton wash takes about 1 hour.
Before the Bosch I had an Haier. After 5 months it showed an err7 code. The engineer came out and replaced the motor, the err7 still showed up. He then replaced the pcb boared and yet the machine still showed an err7 code.
In the end the engineer said the machine is not worth fixing as just the parts alone cost £150, and that is not including labour. He then sent a report to Comet, and got a refund and bought the Bosch machine which I thought was German.
