Travel Insurance with undiagnosed medical condition

Options
I have booked a 5 day trip to Poland from the UK starting on 8th September [flying with EasyJet] but I have recently developed left vocal chord palsy that causes me to whisper apart from which I am fine. So far hospital tests have not revealed anything about the cause of this problem and I have got the next one booked for 20th September. But I am having trouble getting travel insurance for the trip with an undiagnosed condition. Can anyone suggest where I could get any?:(

Travel Insurance web normally covers you but you have to phone them for existing conditions.

Alternative Halifax/BOS Rewards current acc will cover most problems too

I doubt if any insurer willl cover an undiagnosed condition. However you should be able to get cover excluding the condition which will give you cover for everything else.

Odd, my dd's consultant said not to declare any undiagnosed condition because it was undiagnosed and so didn't really exist. Not sure how valid this was, but we didn't need to claim so we didn't put it to the test.

If you haven't been diagnosed with a medical condition, then surely you don't have that condition.
You may have symptons of a condition but untill you get a diagnosis, then you haven't been diagnosed with that condition.

It's not completely undiagnosed though is it? As the OP says, he has left vocal chord palsy, so he knows what's wrong just not why. I would have thought declaring that to the insurance company would allow him to get cover for anything excluding illnesses that could be related to his problem. Maybe it's one that a good broker would be able to solve.

Ok so Op needs a policy that covers existing med conditions, just declare the vocal chord palsy.
    Try
    All clear
    get my travel
    insure and go
they all cover existing conditions there is usally and extra premium of 10-15 pounds
