Holland Damp Proofing

Hi
Has anyone used or had dealings with this company?
I've been given an advert for Holland Damp Proofing (dampproofing.com) but it just seems too good to be true!
I'm currently trying to sell my house and the buyer has just pulled out on the back of the survey advisising of damp in the kitchen. I've offered to rectify this (have work done and cover costs) but I'm struggling to find someone.
One Damp expert literally turned up with a meter, didn't even look outside and told me just to replaster the problem area!
As far as I understand I have penetrating damp, of which I think I know the causes
- End 2006, new kitchen put in. Old lead piping in walls and one cracked. Pipes replaced before kitchen refitted.
- Last Christmas - burst pipe in kitchen. Problem fixed but replastering job not the best.
- House has been empty since Mar 2009 and no heating since Dec 2010
I've seen lots on the web about making sure I get an expert in and avoiding sales people, but I can't seem to find an expert!
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
Tizzy
