anyone bought anything through hp renew? seen a couple of good spec laptops under this scheme, just interested to see if anyone has had good (or more like bad) experiences with it

never used it but be aware of price cross comparisons between what is old and new prices -- very often even on new models the prices do drop after a new processor/chipset -- a jump from i3 to i5 for example. so sometimes it's better to purchase the new model with a previous processor .A new abacus
