Credit Expert URGENT help needed

My husband signed up for the free trial with our credit card and being savvy moneysavers we called the cancellation line and closed our account before we were charged.
Two months later and I notice a 14.99 charge on my card for this month AND next month.
Hubby calls up to ask what the hell is going on. Credit Expert INSISTS he didn't cancel. I was in the room when he cancelled. We BOTH remember it clearly.
At my wits end, what can we do? It's our word against theirs. I am getting really tired of being screwed over by companes. Any help would be appreciated.

First thing you can do is make sure it is now cancelled and get this in writing.
Secondly, when cancelling make sure you do it in writing, via email or post. Make sure you also get acknowledgement of your cancellation.
Regarding the payments already gone out, i'm not sure there is much you can do tbh. Keep at them until they realise your not going away though.0 -

Unfortunately they don't allow you to cancel by email or post
But I'll try and get writing confirmation now. 0 -

Erm...written confirmation XD0 -
What's to stop you following up a telephone call (to cancel) with an email to their customer services?
"Dear Sir/Madam,
I/we are writing in respect of our telephone call today (date) at (time) with (name of person) notifying you of out request to cancel (service). Please take this correspondence as written confirmation of this cancellation request.
Yours faithfully
(Your Names)"
That way you've followed their procedures AND have written evidence of the cancellation request.

That's a good idea, thanks very much.
