Hi to everyone !

I'm new to all this so learning as i'm going. I have been reading a few of the posts on this forum and it's making me feel quite inspired but also daunting at how difficult it can be to challenge some of these banks but its great to know that some of you are actually getting your well deserved money back, so I have a bit of hope that I can do the same its great to see everyone helping each other out.

I was wondering if someone can send me in the right direction for some help (I apologise in advance if this question has been asked many times before)

A bit of background:
Took out a HSBC loan April 2005 for approx £18000 ppi was £5900, we then paid this loan off in Sept 2005 and started a new one (still with HSBC think it was to include our overdraft) so started a new policy for £18600 with no ppi.

This loan was later paid off June 2007 when we moved

We are trying to make a claim for the ppi of £5900, as I believe we were put under pressure to take this in order for our loan to be accepted as they knew we were in financial difficulties.

So far I have wrote a letter (18th July '11) complaining about the ppi and requested it to be refunded and included my reasons why.

Today (26th Aug '11) I received the questionaire to fill in and I'm a bit worried about what to write on there as I believe they will try anything to get out of paying me this money back i'm worried that they will try and twist my words somehow, they have told me that they have to give me a final answer within 16wks from my original claim date.

So after all that my question is ........ Has anyone had any experience with this and could possibly give me any tips on the the best way to go about it ?

Many thanks for reading my essay , and everyone keep up the great work.
;)
