    I find that quite worrying actually. I buy a lot of stuff online so from time to time have had the issue where the payment is taken but the order (or booking in this case) isn't processed. I also work in e-commerce on the other side and these things can happen with 3D secure errors etc.

    But, I've never ever come across anyone who didn't say "Very sorry, technical error, we'll refund you straight away" when I let them know. I would be seriously unimpressed if they told me to take it up with my card company!

    Like others I've used the Premier Inn website a few times and never had an issue; I hope now I never do!
