Missed JSA sign on appointment, benefits stopped, what to do?

  • IF - and only if - he gets the form in within 5 working days of the day he missed, he won't lose any money and his benefit will be paid. The Jobcentre will make the decision as it's straightforward, it won't need to go to a decision maker.

    He needs to be aware that he can only claim sickness one more time for missing an appointment or failing to fulfil his JSAG before his claim will be closed and he'll need to reclaim.
