I am looking to buy a cheap canon printer. Maybe a i250 or a i350 printer.
Reason being because i think they are cheap. Do anyone know if they will work on the cheap cartridges, i.e the ones you get in Tesco for £3.
If you have any knowledge of this, please let me know. I need a new cheap printer asap :-)
But again any printer will do as long as it an inkjet, its cheap, half reliable and takes the cheap cartridges. lol
Thanks guys

Can't comment on the models you're looking at, but I have a Canon Ip1500 and it works perfectly well with compatibles.Dave. :wave:0

Hi glitglit
I think you're in luck.
Look here for prices for i250 and i350 inks:-

You really need to find out the part numbers for the canon cartridges then go and ask at Tesco, to be certain.Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -
Seems the i250 and i350 use the same cartridges as my Ip1500, BCI24's.
If you look around, you can pick up compatibles from as little as 69p if you're willing to.
I found that the really cheap ones didn't always work very well.
I currently use cartridges from Inkcycle and I can't fault them, even with the odd photo I've printed.Dave. :wave:0 -
Personally since I changed to Canon (I have the ip2000) I have never looked back, very good for the price, compatibles dirt cheap £2.50 for a pair and orginal sets for around £15.

Try above and see what I mean.Old Faithful we roam the range together,

If you want a Canon printer, try the Canon outlet shop on Ebay. I bought a lovely little photo printer, refurbished apparently, but boxed and indistinguishable from new. They have a whole range of Canon products at very good prices. Hope I'm not contravening any rules, but this is a money saving avenue, and I'm just sharing a bit of knowledge for that purpose.0
