Grey colours in washing

I just bought a bundle of clothes from ebay for my 1-yr-old daughter, and discovered upon opening that they are very discoloured -all greyish. I can only presume that the previous owner wasn't careful not to put jeans/trousers in with colours! The question is, how can I fix it? I'm really careful with my washing and never had this problem before. I could do without the hassle of sending them back, and most of the clothes are actually quite nice ignoring the colour.

i WOULD SAY THERE IS NO WAY AND NOT SURE AN EBAY RETURN WOULD APPLY TO (oops) used items unless stated, surely there was a pic with the items?
  • Im no expert but I'm sure there are products (Glo-White??) that can sort this. I imagine a capful of bleach would do the trick aswell.

I also bought some clothing from e bay a long time back and the stuff that was sent in the post was only fit for the bin, I emailed the seller and told her the clothes were dirtier than my floor cloth and please refund me as or I will file a complaint, 3 days later refund was in my bank.........I too hate dingey grey clothes ,ive never ordered secondhand clothing since, vanish and all the so called whiteners are very expensive and they wont bring them back to pure white...............

You should e mail the seller and explain that clothes are not as described. That they are all tinged grey & you would not have bid on them if they had explained that on the listing. I have had two items of girls clothing arrive with feint stains and did that both times. Both times I was refunded (including my return postage costs). Just be polite but firm. I offered to photograph the stains and e mail pics but neither accepted my offer. One even refunded before receiving the dress back!

Colour run remover may work but it may not and it's not cheap. Get a refund and bid again on something else. Good luck.
