I've downloaded a film but don't know how to open it, it's a bin file, any ideas?

Assuming it is a genuine video file of some sort, select it, then press the RIGHT mouse button & select the option "open with".
Then go down the list to your preferred video player
Personally I'd be a tadge concerned about something that is supposed to be a film downloading as a .bin file0 -
i think if you burn it to cd then run the cd it should be fine. however .bin files are usually commone with games and programs.0

.bin and .cue files are common video formats that are pre prepared to burn to VCD. just download VLC player (videolan.org) and it will play it without any trouble.0

The other way which no1 recommended is download a virtual device emulator like Daemon Tools.
.bin is a compressed disk image file thus creating a virtual cd drive and then using the .bin image on the drive you can access the data within it...[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
