HSBC Advance bank account

I am looking for some advice regarding "upgrading " my current Green Bank Account with HSBC to their Advance account .
I currently pay £12.79 a month to the RAC for breakdown cover and as the monthly charge for the Advance is £12.95 which includes breakdown cover is it worth me switching to take advantage of the other benefits that Advance offers ?
I am going to Florida in October so the free worldwide travel insurance might save me a little . Although I have diabetes so I am not sure if the HSBC insurance will cover that .
I did try to search for answers but failed .
Thanks in advance
Mike

Ask in branch for the medical declarations telephone line, which is published in the Advance travel insurance brochure. Then ring the medical team and ask. It's the only way to be sure. Before you ask, yes, I work for a bank, but no, I didn't get a bonus!0

I recall paying less than that for RAC cover. Does the free cover with Advance match the same level as what you're paying for?

Well the diabtes is covered by the insurance so thats a good thing and I made a mistake with the RAC cost it is only £11.55 so its maybe not such a good deal although I would get a lower overdraft interest rate I will plough through the terms and conditions and weigh up the pros and cons.
Thanks for the replies0
