I got a car loan with vaxhall and had PPI with the loan, but I dont know who I am meant to send a claim to?
Do I send it to Vaxhall Finance or G.M.A.C (UK) plc
I'm totally confussed!

You contact the insurer and ask them for a claims form. You can put your claim reason in a letter to them, such as why you are off work ill or whatever it is, but they will probably have a claims form that they will ask you to complete.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Just for clarity, are you wanting to make a claim against the policy for illness etc - or are you wanting to complain about possible misselling?I got a car loan with vaxhall and had PPI with the loan, but I dont know who I am meant to send a claim to?
(I only ask as quite often people refer to 'claim' when in fact they mean they wish to ask for a refund of premiums)0 -
Thank you Dr squeeze
I meant to put wanting to complain about possible misselling?0 -
I'm not certain, but I'd suggest contacting GMAC. This is a quote from the Vauxhall Finance website:
Actually, thinking about it, it was probably the dealership who actually sold the PPI so they might be your best starting point instead.Finance provided by Vauxhall Finance, a trading style of GMAC UK plc, PO Box 6666, Cardiff, CF15 7YT.0 -

The Dealership would have been the ones that sold it to you .
Good LuckWe've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.0
