It took 4 years for Wimpey and NHBC to visit me,i showed them the photos and they said it does not prove anything, they took down part of the kitchen ceiling and said nothing was wrong,ok but what about the bedroom where the photos were taken?.He said he was looking for evidence of metal grid showing and gaps, well that is what the photos show,he has closed the case, what is my next move please.
Well, you are obviously not very concerned about it, otherwise you would have brought your own surveyor in towards the beginning of the 4 years. Neither Wimpey nor NHBC will be terribly motivated to give an answer which will cost money
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

And now you have just scuppered any chance you might have had for any responses that you might consider helpful!

If you have a structural surveyor in to examine the property, and you have forwarded the report to the relevant parties, without any satisfactory response, and presumably you have also contacted the insurer of the building for advice, then the only route left for you seems to be to seek your own independent legal advice. I am presuming you would have worked that out for yourself?
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

If you were bothered and not an idiot yourself, you would have brought your own surveyor in as keystone and usignuolo suggested 2 years ago.

There are no idiotic responses here.

pretty sure I said the same thing in this thread 2 years ago but seems to have been removed....
If you want to sort this out appoint an independent surveyor to assess it - then, and only then, can you identify a way to rectify the issue - I seem to remember the reluctance to appoint a surveyor before

Sorry, but you WERE given good advice almost 2 years ago - did you get a report from a qualified structural engineer on this problem. If you did, what did the report state?

    Have you commissioned a survey?

Have you spoken to your insurer?

Oh, and have you learnt some manners, since you were given good advice in a polite manner?
