hello, a quick question (hopefully!)
my desktop pc has become rather tempramental of late so I have switched to my mum's old one. i want to add some new music to my ipod but all the old music stored on it is on my old pc.
can i install the software on the new comp and add new music from the new pc without loosing all the other stuff stored on it? the old stuff is still accessible on my old pc so if it all goes belly up i can still retrieve it.
not sure if this makes much sense, im confusing myself a bit here!
any help greatly appreciated

Yep, no problem.
As long as your second PC has iTunes (obviously!) you can just copy the music from your original PCs iTunes folder (usually My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music) to CD and transfer it to the same folder on the 2nd PC.
Note: if any of the tracks have been bought from the iTunes store then you have to 'authorize' the new PC (in iTunes, click Store - Authorize computer) but Apple will only allow 1 PC at a time to be authorized and a max of 5 changes, although I'm sure that a little Googling will find a way around this.
Good luck!0
