Anyone ever used drivewithus.net for a PCP ?
Further to my earlier post, I've discovered these people; drivewithus.net - it was linked from the autotrader.co.uk website, and so I would like to think that they are reputable, although I have to admit that any company with a website that is a .net address doesn't fill me with confidence.
They have the largest discounts on the car I'm interested in, but perhaps this is becuase they are not kosher....?
Has anyone ever used them to buy a car on a personal contract purchase (PCP) or anything else? If so, any good?
Thanks

Well, I called them using the number on theor website, and got through to someone which is a good sign I guess.
The prices are definitely the best I've seen so far from the brokers I've discovered (e.g. freewaycars, drivethedeal), but I've never gone down this route before and am a little nervous about it, especially considering the discounts that are on offer.
Would very much appreciate it if anyone who has heard of them or used them could let me know about it.
Thanks0 -
I can't comment on them, but have got friends who have bought through drivethedeal.com and were very impressed with the service. Also have a friend who bought a car from carfile.net and said he would only ever use them in future, so good was their deal and service.
Sorry I can't be more help - I think if your gut instinct thinks they're OK and you're not handing over lots of cash upfront, then you may well get a good deal.0 -
            Thanks, thats useful to know.
I think you're probably right. I shall delve into it a littel deeper and see what they want with regards payment etc, and report back !0 -
I too have found this site and I am a bit sceptical. Other sites Drivethedeal for one let you deal direct with a franchised dealer but Drivewithus want you to pay them, £500 deposit and then the balance for the car. Is there any way to protect your deposit? I would be interested in any replies you get.0

Hi! I have just had a quote and got accepted for finance from drivewithus.net but I am also concerned that there is a lack of information about this company.
Their website is very nice and well done but has anyone used them?
I'm looking at a PCP deal on a Seat Leon 2.0l TDI Stylance which saves more than £2000 on list price. If I get it over 36 months i will pay approx £240/month and the car will be £7000 at the end if I want it.
Does anyone have any experience of PCP deals and any hidden problems etc. previously I have had a personal contract hire so i'd be interested in the +s and -s compared to this.
Thanks for the help,
Neil

I ordered a BMW 320i M Sport from Drivewithus in January . I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive due to there being little information on the net about the firm .
Peter who dealt with my order has been professional at all times and only asked for the deposit once the car had been confirmed as arrived with the dealership . The deposit cheque did have to made out to drive with us though ,not the dealer . Once the deposit was paid and the finance forms completed I was given the contact details of the dealership to organise delivery which will be tomorrow . I have received my registration document today so I dont envisage there being any problems .
The APR on the PCP isn't the best but the discount was significantly better than other competitors. My local BMW dealership could not get within £100 per month of what I am going to be paying .0 -
Just a quick update to say that the car arrived today as promised . Took about 8 weeks from order with no problems at all.:T0

Had Bad Experience With Company Waited 12 Weeks For Car Which They Said Was On It's Way. Found Out By Visiting Local Dealer It Had Never Ever Been Ordered Even Though They Keep Telling Me It Was On Its Way.0

We are currently taking legal action against Drive With Us (or Easidrive as they also call themselves) for fraud. Ordered a car in January and after five months of lies and deceit finally got to speak to their M.D. who abruptly informed me that they would not be supplying a car and that if i wanted my deposit back i would have to "take further action"
Initially they claimed that i had not even ordered a car because they couldnt find their paperwork and i had to fax them a copy of their contract. They tried to change the terms and conditions of the contract regarding delivery of the vehicle. The lies included being given a registration number for the car for insurance purposes, given delivery dates etc etc and when you phone with a query the people you need to speak to are always busy and they NEVER phone you back.0 -
