HSBC Fixed 5yr Deal

  • Hi,

I applied for mine. No problems at all. Not pushy at all for sales of insurance which I was expecting. Trying to get a time for an interview is very difficult.

I like the fact you can set up your direct debit to make early repayments of 20 percent without fees. I will over pay the difference between my old mortgage and the new price. I have always said I would pay 10 percent of one year, but never got round to it.

They also offer mortgage payment protection to a max of 125 percent in multiples of £50. You get 50 percent discount for the 1st 12 months. I have found cheaper cover on the net, but not from companies I have either heard off or that offer joint cover. Mines far from the best deal.....

Does anyone know if I can use my Lloyds TSB payment protection cover for the short term until the HSBC cover kicks in?

    Best Regards

    Baz

Brilliant deal for the weary! If your afraid it is good. Spoke the people in HSBC but it ends on the 31st January but with limited supply on these rates.

This deal was withdrawn at midday yesterday due the overwhelming success of it. A new offer is on the website today
