    Its a grim day over on the other place.

    This does pretty much bear up what I have been seeing locally. Few transactions and good places selling quite fast, at lower than peak but not crash prices.

    I suppose we will see what the end of the year brings.

    down another couple of % in my town so thats all that matters to me.
    and these are meant to be the months of the year with most activity!

    i wouldn't trust any hpi figures at the moment. the land registry has burnley (the town with the £10k houses) up over 12% in the last 3 months while blackburn ( a similar local town ) seeing significant falls.
    3.64KW system, aurora power one inverter, South west facing with no shading in Lancashire.

    So they balance out.

    Why not trust the figures ?

    not really, im from burnley and houses are being reduced and are still not selling so where the 12% increase comes from i dont know.
