Funnily my parents don't seem to have a selfish greed which I guess is one of the reasons I don't have one.
They know they did nothing to earn said HPI so they don't lose anything if it drops.
I think they also understand its not free money and I would just have to pay it (not literally, but another young person will have to pay there HPI while I pay somebody elses).
As I say it really is good news for the whole family. :j

Usually, year-on-year change measures vs this time last year although occasionally it will measure an average of the last 3 months against the same period a year ago.
The Land Registry use that, or something similar at least, for their regional and local figures.
I quite like stats although I don't like the way it is presented as a mathematical science. It's a way of interpreting the world so has more in common with economics than with physics or chemistry IMHO.0 -
