Summer House Insurance.

Hello, I am looking to get a little advice on summer house insurance, I am planning on putting one in my garden, they are not cheap so I thought I should insure it, however, I live in a Housing association property therefore I only pay contents insurance and my landlord pays building insurance, It seems summer houses come under building insurance and cannot be added to a contents policy.....anyone else had this problem and is there a solution ?
