Oooh. I love the idea of you folks speaking in Welsh. Sadly my welsh is non-existant, though i did my postgrad in Cardiff.
However i have many good friends still in Cardiff - at BBC Wales who work in the Welsh language, which is actually very beautiful to listen to. I may direct them to this - just cos i love the idea.

Some years ago - you could USED to get into Caernarfon Castle for free if you spoke welsh. When I took my husband there for the first time, and he could'nt beleive I more or less walked straight in - he's English speaking ! I explained that the conversation I had with the receptionist on the entrance was asking if the entry was still free for welsh speakers - and of course it was ....

You can get into 'clwb ifor bach' in Cardiff (next to the Millenium Centre) for free if you speak welsh.
It used to have rock and indie nights.
Dont know about recently though, My clubbin' days are well and truely over.
