free (kind of) beatrix potter books

from today until friday the telegraph are printing coupons for a free beatrix potter book, just take into your local whsmiths to redeem

monday - the tailor of gloucester
tuesday - the tale of jemima puddle duck
wednesday - the tale of mrs tiggy winkle
thursday - the tale of benjamin bunny
friday - the tale of squirrel nutkin

ok, so it's not strictly free (unless you 'borrow' the paper from work as i did) but this is my first freebie thread so go easy, just thought someone may wish to know about this.

not sure if this is the right place for this, and hope it hasn't been posted before, if the powers that be need to move this thread then so be it!:)

Well, I usually just pop into WHSmith and they just give them over, without needing any coupons, so if I'm in Croydon this week I'll give it a go!

if you read the title, and the body of the text i have stated that it is not entirely free, and that i wasn't sure if this was the correct place to post it. i'm rather new to this site, and MOST people make you feel rather welcome. there's always exceptions though.

as you can see, a few people have said thanks so obviously it is of benefit to some.

if you can't say anything nice.....

we dont have a whsmith but would love theses books to read to my kids at bedtime, so if anyone is willing to collect them for me and send them(i will pay p&p) id be ever so grateful

i also stated if this wasn't the correct place then please move it, which is yet to be done, as well as the fact that i am a newbie.

if you have such strong feelings about what should and shouldn't be posted, why not offer helpful advice as to the correct forum, rather than posting comments that are of use to no-one
