Argos TV bust

hi all just trying to help a friend out as her TV she bought from Argos is playing up after being put in for repair while still in warantee.

Ive posted part of the email I made to customer services

'She purchased a TV from Argos for home delivery on 2nd June 2010; after 10 months it was switching off intermittently, the TV was taken back to store during the year warranty for repair. When Ms xxxxxxxx got the TV back home it began playing up again after a few days, as she was ill she could not return this item for the second time until I helped her and took it back to store myself.
The manager would not offer another repair as it was outside the 30 days after the initial repair and no record of this was found.
I do not believe when this TV was taken away for repair it was repaired. The Manager in store could not find any paperwork for the repair and nothing was on the system regarding this.'

thanks guys for any help or suggestions>
