I've heard the term "whoopsies" being used around the food forum and wondered what it meant. Anyone enlighten me?

Things that are reduced either because the display until or use by date is that day - which applies to 95% of things mentioned in the threads. Other whoopsies are bent tins, multipacks of cans with one missing, bottles of shampoo with a label missing etc.0

Yes that's right.
I also known them to be called tat, yellows (due to the colour of the sticker), bargains, chuck outs. One customer that shops at my work calls them 'surprises' as twice a week he picks something up for his tea that night and doesn't know what will be there until he gets to the chiller.0 -
Are these the items that are usually on the same aisle or are they scattered the supermarket. Where would I find whoopsies in the supermarket?0

Different supermarkets have different policies. Sometimes they will have special places - usually one somewhere near the meat shelves and one near the chilled shelves, however in Sains at the moment they tend to leave them with the other goods and you just have to look for the yellow lables. Most places have a section for whoopsied ambient goods - you just need to look around until you find it. The best idea would be to go to your usual supermarket early evening / late afternoon and have a good look around.I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly
