Problem with Monthly Payments - Adrian Flux

Just got my documents today for my monthly payments and they dont add up compared to what i was sold.
I got the insurance with Adrian flux on the 18th of this month and i was told that i would need to pay a deposit up front on the 18th of August, and then the payment would then be 120.20 for 9 months. I requested that the payments was moved to the 26th of the month instead and they said it would be fine, and the first payment would then come out on the 26th of September!
Now i have just seen on the document that was posted that the first payment is due on the 26th of this month, which i cannot afford as i payed the deposit
. Also on the doucment it says the inception date is the 26th of July 2011 which is incorrect!
I have already contacted Adrian Fluke and they said they would look in to it which is no good cause it is urgent
. Am i correct however that the first payment should be September rather than August? I was told this on the phone before i agreed btw so it was a verbal agreement that the first payment was September 2011.
What else can i do? I need insurance from the 26th of this Month and i have already put a deposit down.
Forgot to mention also that i wanted the insurance to start at 26th of this month, but they are now saying that it started on the 18th which i did not want as my previous insurance is still live until the 26th

did they actually take a payment on 26th of this month then?
also, just to clarify, its your insurance certificate that says 18th July 2011 as inception date??? I find this difficult to work out as it is illegal to back-date insurance cover and I know we were not even able to back-date by a minute never mind a month!!0 -
No the inception date for the insurance and therefore the premium credit should of been 26th of this month as i requested.
I rang on the 18th of August to put down the deposit and request that the premium be taken out on the 26th of each month taking effect from 26th of September (as they told me).
Also, i assume it would take up to 3 days for the direct debit so it may not come out until tuesday.0 -

Now i have just seen on the document that was posted that the first payment is due on the 26th of this month, If they have processed the policy correctly (which is questionable) they may have counted the deposit as the amount payable by 26th August? which i cannot afford as i payed the deposit

Right I'm struggling here, this is where you stated the cover had been back-dated, it is ILLEGAL to backdate cover, I dont understand how their systems would even let them do this, are you sure this is the date on the certificate??

I need insurance from the 26th of this Month and i have already put a deposit down You are protected by the direct debit guarantee also, any monies taken incorrectly by Adrian Flux can be claimed back, just go into the bank (it'll need to be on tuesday now) and ask to idemnify (sp?) yourself, this will buy you some time to sort the matter out with Adrian Flux but you need to get on the phone immediately after to avoid your cover being withdrawn with a 7 day notice.

I think I've covered everything, the initial phonecall should have been recorded so that should work in your favour but it normally takes 24-48 hours to have the call pulled0
