NatWest - 0% BT Ever Available?

I have had a NatWest credit card for over 10 years (originally for Airmiles, now wondering why I bothered as I have enough to go to Bognor and back by cargo if I am lucky :) ). I note on their website that they have 0% on purchases for 6 months on normal, silver and gold cards but wondered if anyone had spotted a 0% BT ever?

I was considering cancelling as I am stoozing elsewhere but as I have had it so long it seems a shame to get rid of it if I could potentially get a 0% BT deal by asking nicely. However, I cannot recall ever seeing one - have they ever done 0% BT? Thought I would check before they call my bluff and loose the card (with a decent credit limit as it happens).

    same here...
Have banked with NatWest since i was 16 (my Dad used to be branch manager of a wholly owned subsiduary finance company (that is now Lombard Direct) so he new the bank manager, we had his personal phone no etc ...
So theirs was the first CC i applied for (because daddy mistakenly believed that it can be best to keep your financial stuff with the same institution so they know all about you when you need an overdraft/loan/mortgage etc)
I too have a good limit, and used to pay the balance in full every month before i started stoozing..now it lays dormant....
Trouble is, i always cancel the cc's used for stoozing as i don't want to start getting a bad record, but have never cancelled the natwest because it's nice to know that money is there if REALLY necessary!!
But short answer is no, i have never had a 0% BT offer from them, ever....

I think NW are very lazy, their current account is pants too....can you believe before i joined up here i was actually using their "advantage gold account" and payng them £9 a month for the priviledge!!

Exactly the same situation here. I'm only hanging on to my Natwest card for emergencies. And I've still got a current account with them but there isn't anything in it.
